Sports Illistrated ranked Peyton Manning number one out of all players in the NFL. Peyton Manning threw for 4397 yards last year with 31 touchdowns and only 9 interception. He also captured his first Super Bowl ring. He has proved that he is worth of his number one rating this season by averaging 300 yards and 3 touchdowns a game. The Colts are off to a 2-0 start and they face the Houston Texans this Sunday.
Manning finally gets his ring
Peyton Manning finally silenced his critics when the Colts beat the Bears 29-17 in Super Bowl XLI. Even though Manning has been arguably the best quarterback statistically the best eight years, the knock on Peyton has been he hasn't been able to win the "big game." He proved them wrong and lead the Indianapolis Colts to the Super Bowl with an amazing performance against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in the NFL today and maybe ever in history, and there are no critics anymore.
